Hi, I'm Kirsten
I know what it’s like to love Jesus and still feel anxious, exhausted, and far from peace. I spent years wondering what was wrong with my faith — when really, my body was simply stuck in survival.
I lived by “push through,” “keep going,” “you’re fine.” Those phrases felt like strength and faith. What they were actually doing was teaching my nervous system that its signals didn’t matter. Eventually, my body found louder ways to get my attention.
When I learned to work with my nervous system instead of against it — and to invite Jesus into the body He gave me — everything began to soften. Not all at once. But truly.

Is this compatible with my Christian faith?

Is this a replacement for therapy or medical care?
No, and I’d never say it is. Arise & Shine is a coaching and education program — not therapy, not medical care. If you’re working with a therapist or doctor, this can be a wonderful complement. Please keep your existing care in place.
